With an area of 130,000 square meters, the Paradise Fish Park in Zelo Buon Persico (LO) is a magical area for an excursion that will introduce you to the numerous fish species of the region.
The entire surface of the park is crossed by spring water channels coming from the Mortone fountain. Inside the canals it is possible to observe different varieties of fish, both from the edge of the canal and through original underwater observatories.
The structure of the park is also dotted with various still water ponds intended for the breeding of fish species for restocking the canals.
The entire surface of the Fish Park over the years has been naturally colonized by spontaneous plants and is inhabited by a very varied fauna, which includes mallards, moorhens, coots, herons, as well as numerous minor birds, many of the which are rare.
Due to these characteristics, the park is unique in its kind and is suitable for both leisure and observation and for cultural and educational visits, as well as for scientific research.
