“The Lodigiano and its Treasures 2016”, the initiative of the Province of Lodi for the rediscovery and enhancement of attractions and historical sites of the area, on Sunday, October 16, 2016 has attracted nearly 200 people participating in guided tours at Cascina Sesmones.
Our Cascina has attracted visitors and opened it doors to those interested in seeing the recovery of the original structure built in the year 1400 in a process that has evolved through time by the transformation of the hay barn to become a congress hall, and the remaining farmhouse to what is now the restaurant, the mini apartments, accomodation rooms and stable.
The high turnout has made it necessary to stagger the visits in four groups, to allow our visitors to appreciate more the Cascina Sesmones.
We thank all those who have participated in the initiative and we also invite all of you to visit us soon. We will be more than happy to show you around Cascina Sesmones and again re-live the history!
